Got a call from an event planner stuck at a venue parking lot in Ventura, over in the Poinsettia neighborhood. She had a catering van blocking the loading zone and a 2017 Nissan Quest that wouldn't start. Display just kept flashing "No Key Detected." The event was loading in two hours. She couldn't be late.

Her Intelligent Key, the CWTWB1U789 six-button fob, had a dead CR2032 and had dropped its registration with the BCM. Swapped the battery, reprogrammed the fob through diagnostics, cleared the NATS fault code.
Total hands-on time was maybe 20 minutes. Most of that was the system's timed relearn countdown doing its thing while I stood there watching the scan tool.
She moved the Quest out of the loading zone with time to spare. Didn't have to call a tow truck, didn't have to sit at a dealer service counter. Just got her van running and went back to setting up her event.
The part that stuck with me was how quiet she got when the engine turned over. Not relieved, not happy. Just immediately back in work mode, already thinking about the next problem. That's someone who runs events for a living.
