School parking lot off Thousand Oaks Boulevard corridor, middle of the week. A mom doing PTA volunteer stuff at the elementary school came out to her 2008 Nissan Quest and the remote head key was completely dead. She had run it through the washing machine the night before. Buttons mushy, board corroded, no response at all.

I got there in under 40 minutes. Popped the CWTWB1U751 open on the hood so she could see the damage. The small circuit board was toast, water stains across the contacts. No saving it.
Cut a new NSN14 blade on site, connected my programmer to the OBD-II port, and ran the NATS5 registration sequence through the BCM. Her new remote head key was learned to the car in about 20 minutes. Tested all four buttons: lock, unlock, trunk, panic. Cycled the ignition twice to confirm the immobilizer handshake was clean. No KEY light on the cluster.
She pulled out of that school lot with time to spare. Kid buckled in, next activity on time, no tow truck, no two-day wait. The whole thing from my phone ringing to her driving away was under 90 minutes.
