A mountain biker in the Oxnard Beach Park area of Oxnard lost his only key somewhere on a trail. Checked his jersey pockets, his hydration pack, walked the parking area twice. Nothing. His 2010 A8 was sitting in the dirt lot and he had no way to open it or start it. He had already called the Audi dealer and they told him it would be a tow plus a few days wait while they ordered the fob and scheduled the programming.
I got to the lot and started with my HU66 Lishi tool. It picks and decodes the Audi door lock by reading each wafer position inside the cylinder, which gives me exact bitting for a new blade without the original. Once I had the mechanical side done, I moved to programming. Connected through OBD, pulled the immobilizer PIN from the BCM2 module, and ran the all-keys-lost procedure. That sequence wipes any previously registered keys so the missing one is dead, then writes the new IYZFBSB802 as the primary fob.
Tested proximity unlock on all four doors, trunk release, push-button start, and the emergency blade in the driver handle. Everything responded clean.
