Near River Ridge Golf Course in Oxnard, a flight attendant on a Sunday layover flagged me down at a brunch spot. She had already been burned once. I connected through OBD with my IM608. Cleared the failed key data from the previous attempt, pulled a fresh PIN from the BCM2, ran the registration clean with correct timing, and confirmed the key was permanently written. Her IYZFBSB802 fob had all four buttons responding, Comfort Go started the 4.2 FSI with no two-second cutoff, and the steering column unlocked without hesitation.
She had already paid one locksmith for nothing. All I could do was make sure this time the job was actually done.
