A customer over in the Wildwood neighborhood in Thousand Oaks had her 2020 F-350 parked at the vet. She needed a spare smart key and had done the prep work before I even left.

Then I ran through every button on both fobs: lock, unlock, remote start, panic, tailgate. Checked that the door handle touch-unlock picked up the new fob on driver and passenger sides.
Total time from parking my van to handing her a tested spare was about 18 minutes. She was back in the waiting room before her dog came out.
The dealer route on these runs a few weeks for the appointment alone, and the key cost is a whole different conversation. She got it done in her parking spot during a vet visit.
