I got a call from a guy over on the Mesa one Saturday morning. He'd parked his 2006 M45 the night before on one of the side streets near the bluff and woke up to nothing. No fob anywhere. The new fob registers as the only recognized key. It takes some time because there's a countdown sequence built into the procedure, but it ran clean. The car started.
Before I left, I cut him a second fob too. He was not going to be in that spot again.
