A recent college grad in Skofield Park had just picked up a 2007 Infiniti M45 from a used lot. Nice car, one key. The salesperson told him to get a spare on his own.
He called the Infiniti dealer. They wanted a chunk of money plus a wait for the part to ship, since the CWTWBU735 fob for the M45 is not something most dealers keep on the shelf anymore. He had just financed his first real car and didn't want to add another bill on top of it.

I matched the fob, cut the NSN14 emergency insert blade, and pulled the 4-digit PIN from the BCM through the OBD port using my programmer. The M45 runs the same NATS5 architecture as the Nissan Fuga it shares a platform with, so the add-a-key registration is a procedure I run weekly on Nissans and Infinitis alike. Took about 20 minutes from start to finish.
All four buttons: lock, unlock, trunk, push-button start. Everything matched the original. He drove home with two working smart keys, which means if one ever disappears, the next replacement is a quick add-on instead of a full all-keys-lost recovery with a BCM PIN extraction and a bigger bill.
