An aesthetic nurse near the nail salon strip in Carpinteria, over by Carpinteria Creek Park, called me about a spare for her 2010 M45. She'd already called the Infiniti dealer. The part that matters is what happened after. I walked around the car testing every door handle for passive unlock, checked the trunk button, held the CWTWBU735 fob at different distances to make sure the range was clean, then had her do a cold push-to-start twice. Second time she just sat there with her hand on the brake, staring at the dash like she expected a warning.
No warning. Clean start both times. All four buttons responding.
She saved a good chunk compared to what the dealer quoted, and she never had to leave the parking lot.
