Both fobs were working before the police called back with an update.
She drove home that night. The stolen fob is electronically erased from the system, meaning it will not start or even unlock the NX. The whole job took maybe 40 minutes in the parking lot. No tow truck, no waiting until next week, no sitting on hold with the dealer's service scheduler.
