Got a call from a guy in Oxnard Shores, one of those townhouse complexes right off the water. His 2003 Outlander was parked in an assigned covered spot, tucked in against a concrete wall with a low beam overhead. He had already called a tow. He had been ready to have the car dragged out of a tight space and hauled to a dealer. Saved him the tow, saved him the wait, and what he paid me was a fraction of what the dealer wanted just to look at it.

The car never moved. That was the whole point.
