It was a Friday night, down near Ventura Harbor. A couple had been out for the evening and came back to their 2012 Outlander to find the fob doing nothing. No programming needed that night, just a battery done right and a proper function check before I packed up. He asked what the dealer would have charged just to look at it. I told him what he'd probably hear and watched him do the math in his head. They drove home that same night.
