The immobilizer module recognized the new fob registration, I cut the emergency blade to match her lock, and then spent time actually testing everything: passive door approach, button lock and unlock, the backup start with the fob held to the column, all five buttons, both door barrels, and the ignition.
The part that took the longest was the testing, not the programming. That is how it should go.
She made her noon class. The dealer comparison came up for about ten seconds at the end of the job. She had already done that math on her own.
