Over in Silverstrand Beach in Oxnard, a woman with a 2018 911 Carrera S wanted a spare key she could actually carry and use daily. Not something buried in a junk drawer for emergencies. I used my HU66 Lishi tool to decode her driver door cylinder for the blade cut, then ran the key learning procedure through the OBD port so the BCM would register the new fob alongside her original.
Tested everything on the spot. Remote lock, remote unlock, proximity detection on both door handles, push-button start, trunk release. She held both keys side by side and kept flipping them over like she was looking for the difference.
The whole job took about 40 minutes in her driveway. She got a fully working spare for a fraction of what the dealer quoted, and she didn't have to leave the car anywhere for a week.
