I pulled out my VVDI2 and read the 4D-67 transponder data straight from the chip still sitting in the broken housing. Chip was intact, which saved a full all-keys-lost reset through the OBD port. Extracted the blade fragment from the lock cylinder, decoded the wafers, and cut two fresh TOY43 blanks on the Condor. Then I transplanted the original chip and circuit board into a clean new shell.
She stood there holding two keys like she forgot what that felt like.
Whole thing took about 40 minutes. If that chip had been cracked too, we would have been doing a full immobilizer reset, reading the 93C56 EEPROM off the immo box, and that adds time. But the broken pieces saved her. If you still have yours, even in two halves, bring them. The chip inside a cracked key is usually fine and makes the job faster and cheaper.
