Her fob, the WAZSKE13D01 with four buttons, got rebuilt into a new shell using the salvaged chip and circuit board.
She went from zero keys to two in about 40 minutes. The chip inside a cracked fob is usually fine. If you still have the broken pieces, bring them. It makes the job faster and costs you less than a full all-keys-lost procedure. The dealer quoted her something significantly higher and a week wait for the part. She did not wait a week.
