Over near the Ventura Performing Arts Center, a guy had just finished loading his 2009 Dodge Charger after hauling gear for a weekend event setup. Somewhere between the venue door and the parking lot, his only FOBIK vanished. Gone. He retraced every step, checked the grass strip along the sidewalk, went back inside. Nothing.

Then I connected through the OBD port and ran the Dodge all-keys-lost procedure, which wipes previous FOBIKs from the WIN (Wireless Ignition Node) module and registers the new one as primary. The WIN on these LX-platform Chargers is part number 68066350AA on most builds, and it talks to the PCM through the CAN bus to validate the key's transponder before it releases the starter.
His new IYZ-C01C was cut, programmed, and tested right there in the lot. I cut a spare too so he wouldn't be one lost key away from this situation again.
He just stood there watching the dash cycle through its startup like he expected it to argue with him. It didn't. Lock decode to engine running, about 45 minutes.
