An occupational therapist in Thousand Oaks, over in the Waverly Heights area, called me around 9pm on a Monday. She had finished a late session at the outpatient clinic and walked out to find her 2018 Q50 completely dead to the fob. Push-to-start, nothing. Doors, nothing. No chirp, no dash wake-up.

The dealer's earliest opening was Thursday. She would have had to leave her Q50 in a dark parking lot for three nights, find rides to work, and rearrange her patient schedule. Instead she just drove home.
