2020 Infiniti Q50
Key Replacement - Save vs Dealer in Ventura County

2020 Infiniti Q50 Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

A building superintendent in Lang Ranch had a practical problem. He drove a 2020 Infiniti Q50 himself and managed two company vehicles for the apartment complex he ran. He needed a spare for his own car and spares for both work vehicles. The dealer quoted him per-key pricing that, multiplied by three, was not going to survive the monthly maintenance budget review.

He also couldn't pull three vehicles off-site one at a time. When a pipe bursts or a lock jams at 9 at night, a tenant doesn't care that the maintenance van is across town at a dealership.

I met him at the complex late one afternoon. He was fielding calls the whole time, which is fine. That's the job. I backed up the immobilizer module data before starting, which gives me a recovery point when adding multiple keys to the same vehicle in one session. His Q50 fob uses the factory FCC ID on a 5-button layout. I worked through all three vehicles, programmed each key, and tested every button and the start function on each one individually before moving to the next.

Three vehicles, one visit, and he never moved a car off the property. He handled two tenant calls while I worked and left with every spare tested, labeled, and ready to hand off. The dealer number for the same job was something he'd laughed at when he called me. I get that reaction a lot.
