A guy near Skofield Park in Santa Barbara called me one morning because his only key to his 2005 Infiniti QX56 was gone. Somewhere between unloading groceries and walking back inside, it vanished. He tore through the house, checked the driveway, nothing. The QX56 was sitting locked in front of his place and he had no way in.

Cut a fresh NSN11 blade on my mobile machine to match. Then I connected through OBD, ran the NATS5 all-keys-lost procedure, which wipes previously registered transponders and writes the new ID46 chip as primary. His CWTWB1U751 remote head key turned the ignition and fired the engine first try. Tested all four buttons, lock, unlock, panic, hatch release, all responding clean.
I cut him a spare on the spot so he would not be back in this position again. He kept patting his pocket the rest of the time I was there, like he was already training himself not to lose this one.
