A chiropractor near Proctor Street Plaza in Oxnard called me on his lunch break. He needed a spare smart key for his 2015 CX-5 and had already called the Mazda dealer. Once the system accepted the new WAZSKE13D01, I cut the emergency insert blade, tested push-button start, tested lock and unlock range from about 30 feet out, tested the trunk release, and checked that his original fob still worked alongside the new one.
He was back seeing patients with a working spare in his desk drawer. The whole thing took less time than the dealer wanted just for the intake paperwork.
