Got a call from the Via Marina neighborhood in Oxnard. A woman had one working smart key for her 2018 740i and wanted a spare before she ended up with zero.

The system runs a timed sync that you just have to wait through.
While that was running she asked if the old key would still work. Yes. Both keys active, both tested on start, both tested on comfort access at the driver door handle.
Cut the emergency HU92 blade on the spot, handed her the new fob, and was out in about 40 minutes. She kept the car in her own driveway the whole time.
