2015 Chevrolet Cruze Remote Flip Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

She was parked in the lot near the shops at The Collection in Oxnard when it happened. The blade had been wobbling at the hinge for a while, the kind of thing you notice and then ignore because the car still starts.

Then one morning it snapped. Half the blade went into the door lock and stayed there. The flip housing with the fob buttons was in her hand, and the car was locked with her bag inside.

She called me from the parking lot. I was already in the area.

When I got there she handed me the cracked housing like it was evidence. The hinge had given out completely, but the chip inside was untouched. That mattered a lot. I extracted the blade fragment from the door lock first, then decoded the cylinder to confirm the cut. The chip data from the broken fob read clean, so I transferred it into a new shell, cut two blades, and programmed both keys to the vehicle.

Thirty-five minutes from the time I pulled up.

She kept watching the whole thing on the trunk of the car, asking questions, which I like. When I handed her two working keys she looked at the new fob like she was waiting for something to go wrong. Nothing did.

The dealer quote she had gotten weeks earlier, when the hinge first started going, was enough to make anyone put it off. She paid a fraction of that, without a tow, without an appointment, and without losing her afternoon.
