Out in Silver Strand, I got a call from a Cruze owner who had been sitting in a parking lot for about forty minutes before he reached me. His fob had been acting up for a week - intermittent detection, had to hold it close to the start button, that kind of thing. Then it quit altogether. He mentioned the dealer had already quoted him a full fob replacement plus programming fees before he thought to call a mobile locksmith. He didn't need any of that. He needed someone to actually look at the hardware instead of just selling him a new one. Drove out of that lot in Silver Strand for a fraction of what the dealer wanted.
