A young couple near the Borderline Bar and Grill memorial in Thousand Oaks called me on a Saturday. Their 2010 Chrysler 300 was sitting in the apartment lot, and the FOBIK had stopped turning in the ignition. They had a baby in a car seat and exactly zero patience left.

Read all the positions and cut a matching high-security blade on my mobile station right in the parking lot. Programmed the IYZ-C01C through the OBD port, registered it to the WIN module and SKIM, tested all five buttons, and verified the ignition cycle twice.
The whole thing took around 35 minutes. I showed them how the FOBIK seats into the WIN module slot on the steering column and what it feels like when the wafers are starting to stick versus when the module itself has a problem. The dad just kept bouncing the baby and nodding like he was filing it away.
