A guy in Westlake Village called me on a Saturday afternoon. He had a 2014 Chrysler 300 and zero working keys. Not one. He'd lost his daily fob a few weeks back, was getting by on a spare, and then the spare stopped being recognized. The car just sat there. The sequence ran, new fob paired, push-button start fired right up. I walked every function: door handle touch unlock on both sides, all five buttons, the mechanical blade override. Everything behaved.
He'd been told this was a dealer-only job. It isn't. It's a tool-dependent job, and I had the tools in the van. He saved a good chunk compared to the dealer quote, and he didn't have to pay a tow on top of it.
