I cut a second one while I was there so they'd never be in this spot again.
The whole job ran about 45 minutes, start to finish. The dealer route would have meant a tow, an appointment days out, and a bill several times what I charged. They loaded the kids and left with two working keys.
The part that sticks with me: they had owned that car for years on a single key. A lot of Chrysler owners do. It works fine right up until it doesn't.
