Got a text from a property manager near Carnegie Art Museum in Oxnard. Her 2021 QX60 was doing the dance: sometimes it started, sometimes "No Key Detected" on the dash.

I cleaned the contacts down to bare metal, applied contact protectant, and seated a fresh battery with proper spring tension. While I had my Autel connected, I checked for that B2799 code that plagues these BCM modules. Clean. Then the real test: walking away until the mirrors folded, walking back to check proximity unlock on all four doors.
The dealer wanted her to drop it off for diagnosis first, then order a new I-Key if needed. We fixed it in her driveway for way less than their diagnostic fee alone.
