2023 Infiniti QX60
Key Replacement - Save vs Dealer in Ventura County

2023 Infiniti QX60 Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

Out near College Estates in Oxnard, a dad called me about a 2023 QX60 with a cracked fob housing. Not dead yet, just visibly splitting at the seam, and he could feel it getting worse every time he grabbed it out of his pocket.

The timing was the real problem. He was running his daughter to gymnastics four days a week, meets on weekends, and working full days in between. The dealer wanted the car dropped off for a block of time he did not have. He was the only driver. Leaving the car anywhere was not an option.

I met him in the parking lot at 4pm while his daughter was inside on the beam. The fob itself was still functioning fine electronically. The housing was the issue. I transferred the internals into a fresh replacement shell and verified every button function: lock, unlock, and the remaining two buttons all tested clean. No programming needed because the electronics stayed intact and paired to the vehicle throughout.

The job was done before the session ended. He was back in the driver seat when she walked out with her bag. She had no idea anything had happened. He mentioned wanting to stop for smoothies. That was the whole afternoon.

The dealer quoted him a wait and a half-day without his car. He spent neither.
