Tested passive entry on all four handles, tested the trunk release, ran the push-button start twice cold. He stood there watching the dash light up like he had forgotten what that looked like.

His car never moved. He never needed the tow. The whole thing took about 40 minutes, and he paid a fraction of what the dealer quoted him over the phone.
