2001 Subaru Legacy Remote Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

I got a call from a nanny in Oxnard, parked near the Historic District, two kids in the back seat and a fob that had survived a full wash cycle. It had not survived well.

She had a 2001 Subaru Legacy. The fob was the only one on the car, the remote functions were completely dead, and she needed to be back at the house before the parents got home. It was a Wednesday. The dealer told her Friday, possibly longer if the replacement needed to be ordered.
