A chiropractor over near Proctor Street Plaza in Oxnard called me on a Wednesday. He had patients every 30 minutes until 5pm and his 2003 Legacy remote had gone completely dead. Lock, unlock, trunk, panic, nothing. All four buttons came back. Lock, unlock, trunk, panic. Alarm stopped screaming every time he used the blade. I verified the 4D60 transponder was still reading clean by cycling the ignition a few times. No immobilizer light staying on, engine caught right away.
He walked out, grabbed the key off his desk, clicked lock, heard the chirp, and went back inside to his next patient. Car never left the spot.
