I pulled the BDC2 data through the OBD port using my VVDI2, read the ISN from the DME, and registered the new key to the BDC module. Because she had a working key present, the whole security handshake cooperated on the first pass. Cut the emergency blade, synced Comfort Access, tested lock, unlock, trunk release, and push-button start. Then I walked around the car and checked the door handle proximity from every side.
Twenty-two minutes, parking to handoff. She was back inside the doggy daycare next door before her pup finished playing.
