He was standing in the parking lot watching the whole thing. When both fobs started the car clean, he just exhaled and said "OK." That was it. No drama. He drove home that night.
The stolen fob is dead now. Once the Smartra 3 memory is wiped and new keys are written, the old fob is a plastic shell with a worthless chip inside.
