A roofing contractor called me at 6:30 in the morning from a supply yard down in Lower Village, Montecito. His crew was already on the clock and he needed materials loaded onto a flatbed. His 2004 Mazda 6 would crank but not turn over. The security light on the dash was blinking steady.

I used my MAZ24 Lishi to decode the lock, cut a fresh key on the HPC Blitz, then connected through the OBD port to register the new transponder. The immobilizer module on these first-gen 6s (GG prefix part numbers on the PCM) has a security handshake that takes a timed countdown. No skipping it.
He watched from the truck bed while his guys strapped down lumber. Whole thing, hands-on, ran about 30 minutes. He was loaded and pulling out before 7:30.
