Out in River Park near the Wagon Wheel area of Ventura, a gymnastics coach called me on a Tuesday. Single dad, two jobs, drives his daughter to practice every day. He had already called the dealer that morning. They told him Friday at the earliest, pending parts availability on the fob. He needed the car that afternoon.

When the sequence completed, I walked every function: door handle touch unlock on both sides, lock and unlock from distance, the start button with the fob in normal carry position, and each of the four buttons. All confirmed.
