Out near Santa Paula Airport, a woman who walked dogs for a living flagged me down about her 2015 Mazda 6. I programmed a new key with the correct ID49 chip, matched the WAZSKE13D01 housing with four buttons, and swapped her CR2025 while I was in there because the old one was reading low, which only made the intermittent detection worse.
Walked the lock, unlock, trunk, and panic buttons. Tested push-to-start five cold cycles in a row. It's been solid since. She spent a fraction of what the dealer quoted her over the phone.
