Got a call from a gig delivery driver over near Pole Creek Trail in Fillmore. He was sitting at the smog and repair shop, already burned once. Some outfit from a Google ad showed up, charged him heavy, and left him with a half-working key. His 2009 Armada would start, but the remote buttons on the CWTWBU624 were dead. Lock, unlock, hatch, panic, nothing. He was reaching across to lock doors manually like it was 1998.

The previous guy had only done half the job, got the immobilizer chip paired but skipped the remote frequency binding. Once I ran the proper sequence through the BCM, all four buttons came back and the push-button start worked clean.
He stood there clicking lock-unlock a few times, testing it like he didn't trust it yet. Then he just nodded and got back to his deliveries. Whole thing took about 25 minutes and came out to a fraction of what the dealer wanted.
