Up near San Marcos Pass in Santa Barbara, a guy was stuck at a lodge with his family and a 2013 Cadillac Escalade that had zero working keys. Push-to-start, no backup slot, nothing. The truck looked dead. Everyone he called told him it was a dealer-only job, plus a tow back down the mountain.

I drove up to meet him. All-keys-lost on these GMT900 Escalades means the body control module has to be accessed and the old key data wiped before anything new can register. The BCM on this generation is the 15894697 or equivalent, and you read the EEPROM data first as a safety backup. I used my ACDP module to pull that data, then ran the AKL procedure through the OBD port. No bench removal needed on this one, which saved time.
Cut the new PK3+ transponder blade on site, programmed the chip, then paired a fresh OUC6000066 remote for lock, unlock, and hatch. Tested every button, cycled the ignition three times, confirmed the security light on the dash settled down and stayed off.
His Escalade started at a lodge on a mountain pass with no dealer anywhere close. He kept looking at the key like he did not trust it yet. The whole thing took under an hour.
