While it cycled, I cut the HU100 emergency insert blade and checked her original fob. Dead CR2032, but the fob housing was fine, so I swapped the battery and tested both.

Walked every door handle for passive entry, tested the liftgate button, ran the remote start twice. Both fobs responding, both starting the truck, passive unlock working on all four doors.

She picked up her kid on time. Two working keys in hand, done on site, for a fraction of what the dealer quoted.
