She watched from the passenger seat, scrolling her phone.

Once the BCM accepted the new fob, I tested all six buttons: lock, unlock, remote start, panic, liftgate, and the push-to-start from both front seats and the rear cargo area. Everything responded clean.

She drove home the same afternoon. The dealer appointment she canceled would have been four days later.
