2017 Nissan Frontier MECHANICAL-KEY Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
Over at Fremont Square Shopping Center in Oxnard, a guy called me about his 2017 Frontier. He depended on that truck to get to dialysis three times a week, and his only key was falling apart. The plastic housing had cracked and he was worried the transponder chip inside would just drop out one day and leave him stranded. He wanted a spare made before that happened.

I used a Lishi DAT17 to decode the lock right off the driver door, cut a fresh blade on the HPC CodeMax, and programmed the transponder through the OBD-II port. The BCM picked up the new chip registration in about two minutes.
His separate remote, the CWTWB1U751, paired up with a quick button sequence on the truck, no scan tool needed for that part. Tested lock, unlock, panic. All clean.
He left with two working keys and did not have to rearrange a single treatment. That was the whole point.
