This was a Technology package, so it ran the 5-button proximity fob, FCC ID KR580399900. That is the 902 MHz bidirectional remote start key with an ID47 HITAG3 chip on the A2C80399900 board inside. Acura ties different part numbers to memory positions, driver 1 and driver 2, things like 72147-TZ6-A71 and the -A81, even though the FCC ID is the same across both.
All keys lost means I wipe the immobilizer memory and register fresh fobs from scratch. I pulled up immobilizer access through my programmer, cleared the stored key IDs, and wrote two new smart keys into the system. The MDX accepted both. I cut the HO01 emergency inserts on site.
While she finished up with the officer, I tested touch unlock on every door, walk-away auto lock, remote start, and panic. Everything cycled clean.
Dealer told them they would need to order by VIN and tow it in, probably a week wait. Instead, she drove home that night with two new keys and the stolen one permanently erased from the system.
