I pulled out a fresh KR5BTP, cut the emergency blade to match her locks, and went through the immobilizer registration. The 2024 requires you to press the start button twice during pairing, different from the third-gen sequence.
Lock, unlock, remote start with the telltale double honk. Her driver memory settings came right back when she sat down.
