Got a call from a guy stuck at a gas station right off the 101, over near the Midtown neighborhood in Ventura. His 2014 Ford Fusion wouldn't respond to anything. Easy mistake when you're stacking two coin cells in a tight housing and there's no diagram inside the shell.
Flipped the battery, snapped the fob shut, and tested. Doors responded from 15 feet, push-button start fired on the first press, trunk release worked clean. I walked every function twice.
