2010 Toyota 4runner Remote Head Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

A woman in Ventura, over in the Westside neighborhood, called me from the Walgreens parking lot. She needed a spare for her 2010 Toyota 4Runner and she had done her homework before dialing.

I pulled up next to her 4Runner and got to work. The HYQ12BBY uses a TOY43 blade and a 4D-67 transponder chip that has to be registered to the immobilizer ECU. I pulled the security data through my NASTF-authorized channel, which gives me the factory seed codes Toyota requires for legitimate programming. Cut the blade, dropped the chip data, and registered it to her system using the ACDP.

Then the test loop. Turn the key, engine fires, security light goes off. Lock, unlock, panic. All three buttons responding. Pulled the key out, tried her original, confirmed both registered and no conflict.

She watched the whole thing from about two feet away. When it started on the new key she just nodded, like she already expected it to work but needed to see it.

Real receipt with my license number printed on it. Real company van with a real phone number. That was the part that mattered to her more than the key itself.
