It was 5:30 in the morning when my phone went off. A guy in South Bank, Oxnard, supply lot, crew already loading. His 2024 Prius smart key had gone dead overnight and the push-to-start button wasn't registering anything. Shift started at 6.

The dealer option would have meant a tow, a same-day appointment if he was lucky, and most of a workday gone. That's not how early mornings in South Bank work.
