Got a call from Pleasant Valley Fields in Oxnard. A woman with a 2017 F-150 Lariat said her only smart key had been sitting in a puddle on her truck bed liner all night. Rain came through the tonneau cover seam, the fob soaked through, and by morning the push-button start just flashed "No Key Detected" on the dash cluster.

I opened the M3N-A2C931426 shell on her tailgate. The board inside had visible corrosion on two of the contact pads near the 315 MHz antenna trace. Cleaned the pads with contact cleaner, dried the board, seated a fresh CR2450, and sealed it back up.
Then I ran the full check. Lock, unlock, remote start, panic, and the liftgate button. Walked thirty feet out and tested again. Three clean push-button starts in a row. The Intelligent Access pickup from the door handle came back on both front doors.
She kept looking at the dash waiting for the warning to come back. It never did. No new fob needed, just a cleanup done at her truck in her neighborhood for a fraction of what the dealer quoted her over the phone.
