Got a call from a guy near Freedom Park in Camarillo. He had a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, the ZJ body, parked outside a friend's place. Key snapped off in the driver door lock. Half the blade was still jammed in the cylinder.

Cut a fresh Y149 blank on my mobile machine, matched to the factory bitting. Tested the driver door, passenger door, ignition, and the rear liftgate. All four turned smooth.
No transponder on these. No programming step. No SKIM module. The 1995 ZJ predates all of that by a few years. It's purely mechanical, which means the job is just precision cutting and making sure the wafers in every lock cylinder line up.
