A limo driver in Oxnard, parked in the Ventura Road shopping corridor staging area, called me before six in the morning. His 2015 Lincoln Navigator key had snapped in the ignition. Half the H75 blade still jammed in the cylinder, the other half in his palm. First airport pickup was in ninety minutes and the clock was already running.
I got there and used my FO38 Lishi to pull the broken piece out without chewing up the wafers. Took patience, not force. Once extracted, I decoded the lock positions right off the cylinder and cut a fresh H75 blade from those readings.
His fob is the M3N-5WY8609 with the 4D63 80-bit chip on the transponder side. I programmed the new key through the OBD port using the PATS security access procedure, which includes a roughly ten-minute security timer the system forces you to sit through. No way around that wait. We stood by the truck making small talk while the timer counted down. He kept checking his phone for the ride request.
Key registered on the first pass. Tested the remote lock, unlock, liftgate, panic, and remote start. All five buttons clean. He pulled out of that lot with time to spare.
A dealer would have meant a tow plus a multi-day wait for a part order. He just needed one guy with the right Lishi and a blank.
