Got a call at 6:15 in the morning from a guy in Oxnard, over near Five Points Shopping Center. His only smart key to his 2017 Navigator had snapped clean at the neck the night before, emergency blade separated from the fob housing. He had a 7:30 flight and no backup key.

While that timer ran, I tested the mechanical blade in the driver door and the steering column backup slot. Everything turned clean.
Once the countdown cleared, I wrote the M3N-5WY8609 to the vehicle. Tested all five buttons: lock, unlock, remote start, panic, liftgate. Walked the perimeter checking proximity unlock on each door handle. Started the engine twice from cold to make sure the immobilizer handshake held.
He was backing out of his driveway before 7. Didn't say much, just a head nod and a "thank you" through the window. That was enough.
The dealer quoted him two days and a tow. He made his flight with time to spare.
